Edgell-Birds Eye 5 km Fun Run |
- Registrations: 9:30 am-12:30 pm
- Race briefing: 12:45 pm

This is a Triathlon Australia sanctioned event.
Entries:
- Entry fee: Adult $10, Junior $5, Family $20
- Entry Forms available here and at 9:30 – 12:30 at the Advocate Van on race day
- Early Electronic Entries to Joe Pearson cradlecoasttm@gmail.com OR Early Postal Entries to Festival in the ParkRun/Swim, PO Box 202, Ulverstone 7315 by Wednesday, 24/2/2010.
- For Insurance purposes each competitor needs to be registered with Cradle Coast Triathlon and Multi-sport Club.
- Competitors who aren’t already members of CCTMC need to pay a membership fee of $10 per adult and $5 per junior.
- That one fee covers you for both the Festival Run and the Festival Swim.
- This payment also entitles you to enter other CCTMC events in the current season.
Course:
- 5 kilometres out and back.
- Marshalling near Rowing Club
- Mass start in King’s Parade near Lovett Street; then east along Kings Parade and Kings Way; west across Hobbs Bridge; turn left into Helen Street; continue along River Road to Maxwell Street; right into Maxwell Street; turning point at western end of Maxwell Street; return over same roads keeping to right on footpath over Hobbs Bridge; right down ramp into Anzac Park; west along footpath beside Leven River for 150 metres
- Finish arch is close to Fountain.
Police will close Kings Parade, Kings Way, Hobbs Bridge and Hobbs Parade to Helen Street to allow clear road for outbound runners.
NB Route starts at Intersection of Kings Parade and Lovett Street and extends to western end of Maxwell Street

There is prize money in each category plus random-draw cash prizes.

Swim and Fun Run Guidelines
1. Prize money to be allocated as per the Prize money allocations sheet.
2. Competitors must be present at the presentations to receive random draw prizes.
3. Random Draw prizes will be made within each race division.
4. Wetsuits are permitted for the swim event. No other additional swimming aides are permitted (such as flippers).
5. Spectators and supporters are not permitted onto the race course.
6. Pacing by rollerblade or bicycle is not permitted and may result in the disqualification of the accompanied competitor.
7. Appeals must be received in writing by the Race Director within 60 minutes of the scheduled event start time. All appeals are to be accompanied by a non-refundable appeal fee of $50. The decision on an appeal made by the Race Director shall be final.
N.B. Competitors must be at the 2:00 pm presentations to be eligible for the random prize draw.
